What are some Simple and Fast Campfire Recipes

Omelets are very easy to make when you are out with your family and friends camping. Be creative and use a Ziploc bag to mix the eggs with onion, cheese and other ingredients that your family prefers. Store them in a cooler overnight and boil them in hot water in the morning and let them cook for about 15 minutes. Carefully remove the omelet from the bag after they are properly cooked and serve into your plate.

Another easy to prepare breakfast meal is sausages which can be enjoyed by your whole family. To prepare this delicious snack, mix ground meat with a tablespoon of salt and one tablespoon of powdered milk. Mix these ingredients with the mix and put it in a cooler overnight to make it easier for the ingredients to blend into the meat and fry the sausages till they are golden brown.

You can also have cinnamon rolls in the morning during your campfire adventure. This recipe is very simple to make since you will only need cinnamon rolls and a stick to hold them as you place them over the fire. A dough in a spiral shape will make it easy for you to twist it around the stick and ensure that you pinch the ends so that it doesn’t come out of the stick. Roast the rolls over the fire and keep watch until the outside is golden and the inside is well cooked. Serve your cinnamon rolls on a plate or alternatively, you can eat them from the stick.

Campfire sandwiches are ideal for lunch and dinner, and a loaf of bread, cheese slices, ham, butter as well as mustard is all that you will need. Cut the loaf of bread in several slices depending on the number of sandwiches you intend to make. After cutting the slices, stir a good amount of butter and mustard and spread on each slice of the bread. Place the ham and the cheese in the middle of the slices and wrap with an aluminum foil and preserve in a cooler. Cook the sandwiches on a grill for about 20 minutes and make sure that the cheese has melted. Pull apart the sandwiches as serve with other toppings that you desire.

You can also make pizza as a main meal during your campfire adventure. All you need is a loaf of bread, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, red onions cut into half moon, green pepper and other toppings of your liking. Add the pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese and other ingredients into the bread, wrap it in a foil and freeze it. Place over the campfire to cook for about 20 minutes or till the cheese has melted and let it cool before serving to your family or friends.

You can also make roasted chicken by placing tomatoes, red potatoes, onions and carrots to the split chicken and warp it then roast over fire.
