A Short Guide to 4k TV
In the digital world that we live in today, upgrades are always coming. You cannot find an electronic device that will not have an upgrade in a year or less. However, if upgrades for an electronic device are not soon coming you can well say that in a matter of months that device will become obsolete. Upgrades coming out every now and then have given a tremendous rise in electronic devices and technology. Sometimes you will notice upgrades almost every month.
TV screens are also not left behind. TV screens have been getting upgrades ever since the boom of technology a few years ago. During the earlier years, tubes were used for TV screens which emitted radiation and proved to be a hazardous thing for people viewing TV. Soon enough, tube TVs were replaced with LED screens and other types of screens which were safer to use. When it comes to screen resolution, things need to upgrade quite quickly as well.
Just a few years ago, 720p was the highest quality you could find in the market of TVs. After a few months, the 1080p resolution came which gave a better picture resolution to TV. These numbers are simply the number of pixels that are condensed into a TV screen. This means that if the TV has 1080 p resolution, there are 1080 pixels aligned vertically. This measurement does not include the pixels that are aligned horizontally.
Case Study: My Experience With Televisions
Just when people thought 1080p was the latest and the greatest, 2k entered the market. 2k took the market by storm and soon almost everyone purchasing a new TV demanded 2k resolution. The 2k resolution also became the standard for advertisement screens and other screens used in business. If you go to any TV shop, you will definitely find several types of 2k resolution TV screens available, but you will also find something even bigger.
Practical and Helpful Tips: Entertainment
It has not yet been long since the release of yet another TV screen resolution. People purchasing TV screens can now opt for the highest and the most expensive resolution out there, the 4k resolution.
